The
Long Riders’ Guild Academic Foundation
Support the World Ride! The Long Riders' Guild Academic Foundation was founded to encourage the growth of a global equestrian enlightenment which will enable innovative, curious and tolerant people to study the role of the horse in a variety of disciplines. The LRGAF's three main principles are Equestrian Exploration, Research and Publishing. The LRGAF open-source website consists of academic articles of an equine nature, equine-related news stories, rare equine theses, equine-related commentary and investigations. The goal of the LRGAF Publishing Division is to create the largest collection of equestrian wisdom and history books ever seen, in every known language. The World Ride is the first expedition to be endorsed by the Equestrian Exploration Division of the LRGAF. The aim of the LRGAF's Equine DNA Database (LRGAF-EDD) is to construct the world's first complete equine genetic library. This is the first research project undertaken by the Research Division of the LRGAF. The objective of these related efforts is to encourage a horse-related information revolution without borders. But these ground-breaking activities cannot take place without funding. With your help, the international LRGAF will become the world's leading source of equestrian wisdom, history, science, geography, literature, research and exploration.
